  • rebuilt 450 however no lift

Hi, rebuilt my 450 after a crash and installed new cyclics savox 0257mgs went through the whole beastx setup on the ar7200bx and was happy. Went to spool up today and I have no lift. Swash moves up when giving positive pitch and down when giving negative, there is plenty of head speed I just cannot understand why I have no lift. Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

did you check that have the same amount of pitch "WITH A PITCH GUAGE" in both directions in Idle Up? eyeballing the swash means nothing you could have 0 pitch at full stick

Re: rebuilt 450 however no lift

      Hi

Make sure that the blade grips are the right way round (leading edge!). Its very easy to accidently get them the wrong way when rebuilding / fixing.

Then use a pitch gauge to check for 0 degrees pitch at centre and +- 12ish degrees.

Hi Guys thanks for the replies, turns out on the blade 450 the swah moves in the opposite direction I.e. low swash for positive and high swash for negative. Just needed to reverse the pitch on my tx to sort it.

          cheers

Glad you worked it out - I was just typing a post to tell you that mine moves down when giving + pitch, and up when giving -

Since no-one has pointed that out the direction of the swash is a reflection of leading or trailing edge control in a typical fbl system. And in most of those it's leading edge control.
