Hi my name is Mike and I am new to this forum and flying Heli's.
I started a few months ago with a little indoor Mini Twister which I have learnt to fly quite well. Then a trip to my local model shop got me to shell out for a Twister 400s. They assured me that the bigger the Heli the more stable they get. Well I took it out for a couple of flights and it was a dream to fly! only problem was the poor battery life and difficulty too swap batteries.
I took it back to the shop and they let me trade it in for a Twister CPX (their recommendation). First flight lasted about 6 seconds. As soon as it started to lift off it just tipped over left and I couldnt stop it, so broke a blade.
The shop blamed me, repaired the Heli and put some trainers on it. Second flight lasted 10 seconds, took off and got up to about 6 feet. It was impossible to hover, then it flipped upside down and crashed. The 3D was not switched on. I am sure the settings are wrong or giro's are not working properly.
Can anyone help please?
