  • Charger psu suggestions

    Hey folks,

Anyone got any recommendations on a charger / psu setup?

I need something capable of charging 6s 5000 at 2c ideally if the psu can handle 2 chargers at that rate.

Have always used pc psus in the past.

    Any proven suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

If you want to go the DIY route again id recommend using server PSU's. I built my own using two server psu's very powerful and was easy to do. iCharger 306B and 2 dell poweredge 2850 power supply's in series. This gives you a 1400w power supply for about £30 and the 306B will do 30 amps at 6s voltage.

cool... if you already have the server psu's you already have 95% of what you need. The most important thing if you are going to be using more than one is finding out how to isolate the DC ground on one of them to make them safe, the site i linked to isn't very good for making that clear, but there should be the info for your psu somehwere in that thread
