Nice and sharp. If you can set a slightly slower shutter speed you will get more of a disk. They are very good Ian for a first go.

Well done dude, they look great for your first real attempts at following a rapidly moving model. Pictures really clear from the camera.

Were's the rest and yours for instance?! Or did I suffer with camera shake

Blimey, Steve Roberts flying a 3 blade head nowadays? I bet that is virtually silent in the air - stealth heli.

It would be great to get a report from him on how it compares to the standard setup.

                        Hey.

I was intrigued as to the advantages of a 3 blade setup over the more usual 2 when FBL and Steve said it was to help at low rotor rpms. As we can imagine with a 2 blade setup there is 180 degrees of rotor rotation where there is no blade, add an extra blade and the gap reduces to 120 degrees. There's probably a much more involving answer, but the idea apparently is to help in F3C when running low rotor rpms for the hovering maneuvers.

The Japanese have been pushing this 3 blade approach for a while now, there are JR conversion kits for their top end models readily available.
