  • Places to fly around Ruislip

    hi All

I'm fairly new to helis, well I say that, I got a raptor 30 about 10 years ago but crashes, and life got in the way and I never learnt to fly it.

I'm back in the air now though with the raptor and also a 450X and the help of Dave at Flying fish. I'm looking for place to fly that are easy to get to. I'm just learning so need somewhere that's going to enable me to do lots of flights. So where is good to go around Ruislip?

I've never been part of any sort of RC club so have no idea what to expect or how they work so any info gratefully received

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum,,, There's a few sites that are suitable for you, like where Tourer Jim flys at- Little Harlington, Field end rd,Ruislip and Northwick Park Model Flying Club- bear in mind that at field end- you can only fly NITRO heli's from Sat 9am-1pm and Sun 10am-1pm- Electric heli's have no restrictions and can fly 7 days a week- NPMFC also only allows Nitro flying from WEDS 1pm-4pm and Sat 11am-4pm- again,Electric models from 9am-7pm 7 days a week but they require a flying permit from Brent Council(Parks Services)£33 and BMFA insurance..
              Hope this helps.
