Weather nice (sat) dash down field, fire up old faithful into the hover. Damn thing drifts sideways into the deck. BANG!
Airborne radio switched off. Third fooba H/D switch in 12 months to do this. Sooo, not enough parts to fix looks like have to wait for postie. no flying now this week.

So Moral is. Look at a other switches that have a more locked in feel. Maybe stick switch. Maplins seem to have a few

Anyone got any favorites to recommend

use an EC3instead of a switch.

Wire the female EC3 into the "live" wire and join the two terminals of the male EC3 as the jumper ..no switch needed.

Yeah I agree Stay away from switches, make a jump lead type thing with an EC3 as described above...

          Yeah, I like that.
I got a couple with switches and they really don't look like quality items - cheap & flimsy & God knows what corrosion might happen if they get a bit damp.
          Good idea that,
          Taa.

The problem I used to find with switches is being heavy handed they just break, with higher current applications they burn out and they break down over time (lose their "click")..

Its the same old saying - minimize the number of parts/connections = more reliable (usually lol)
