Thanks Stanley, my connectors are hot glued to the RX and BeastX, but I haven't pinned the tail yet - based on your accident it seems I should REALLY make sure I pin it soon!

Your post suggests that it the tail box end that I should pin, is my interpretation correct? Also, how did you pin it? I take it I need to buy a longer screw?

    EDIT:
I still have the old style tail unit, I'm thinking that I might upgrade it at some point if it is worth doing.

Erm I havent pinned it yet haha will do it tomorrow.

You have to drill a small hole and then screw in a small bolt.

I dont think theres any point in upgrading the tail.

Someone else asked what she said. She has a habit of starting sentences and not finishing them, she said "Sweet I can't" - she was struggling to see the helicopter on the screen on my S3

I spent an hour this evening doing something on Phoenix that is really boring and I find really difficult....
Just flying a simple circuit or eight, at constant height and constant speed, taking maybe ten seconds for a circuit, slow & steady & smooth. No steep banking, no fast turns, just steady and smooth...
Blooming heck it is really difficult!!
As far as accuracy goes I find flying in reality far easier than Phoenix. I felt completely in control of the X5, whereas on Phoenix there is somehow a disconnect that makes it harder in some respects. That said, because crashing in Phoenix doesn't cost anything, I'm far braver in Phoenix.

Deciding it might be the battery, I landed it, swapped the battery out with another, and then it was fine. The thing is, I'm not convinced it is the battery. Any ideas what could be happening?
Anyone got any idea what could be happening here?
