    Hi all,

    I have recently changed from JR to Futaba and need to buy another copy of Pheonix to get the cable!!

    Does anyone have a spare or one you no longer need??

      You can get an adaptor from Pheonix

      go to Phoenix model flight simulation :: Purchase and click on the link "Visit out Online Accessories Store" gives you a list of adaptors

          fast lad sell a cheapo adapter costs £3.99, the oe Phoenix one is silly money

                A wireless solution would be the best. Those futaba square plugs have a nasty habit of losing connection.
                If you insist on a lead make sure its from a good source as there are reports of cheap ones frying the tx

                  the problem with the square plugs is the pins are loose in the plug and over time they get pushed back too far and obviously cant make contact. I pulled the cover off mine and epoxied em in place, no issues at all now

                    To expand on the poor connectors issue with the futaba system. I have had to repair probably three or four futaba tx's due to the 6 pin connector material. The pins are made from a brittle phospher bronze type material that beraks as you insert the plug. The pins in the plugs are useless and they push out but the sockets in the transmitter are equally to blame for the problems. They break in normal use.
