For the hanger I made i happened to have some hardwood strip about 5mm x 20mm left over from something else.. screwed to the wall with small stand-offs cut from scrap wood slightly thicker than the skid tube thickness. Paint or varnish. You just need to guesstimate blocks spacing for strength and heli position.Originally posted by Si_B View PostPGK

Don't have a local b&q and the rails in Homebase were flimsy and expensive, so went with a hardwood rail and some heavy duty plasterboard retaining bolts ( there are 6 in the wall in between in heli.....not going anywhere)
Can anyone spot the obvious mistake !!!
Glad to have them off the floor, and the Gobblers are safe on the cupboard. Was only a matter of time before one got kicked or knocked.Cheers,
