  • Anyone else had this problem?

    I have just recently bought/built and maidened a new Align 700 DFC.Maiden went pretty badly,a bolt came loose which i had not even noticed.The bolt in question is shown here;
    Infinity Hobby

    When i built the heli i took out,threadlocked and replaced every bolt i could see.This bolt i didn`t even see,it`s not even shown in the manual either.
    So i`m just hoping someone might see this thread and make sure they get to this bolt and threadlock it.
    Sorry if this has been mentioned in here before,i don`t visit too often

    The link suggests replacing the button head screw with a cap head one, seems like a good suggestion to me, as long as there isn't any interference with any moving parts.

      had the same issue, bolt came lose, heli did spin round - throttel hold, dipped .. you know the rest ... I was sure I had threadlock on it but when reviewing the tail it seemed like there was none - so I might have indeed missed it ... was another £280 maiden lesson for me ... I was dumb enough to not have Duncan Osbourn maiden it for me - he might have saved it completely ...

        this is quite common that people dont see this screw i missed it on mine, it was only that when i went to see ian contessa for a set up that he pointed it out or it would have been an expensive ****-up. also check your other screws as we found that the threadlock would stick to the bolts but wouldnt stick to the inside of the bolt hole so had to completly rebuild the heli
