Unlucky, you need a new boom matey definately and you need to check for other damage main shaft, feathering shaft etc..looking at the boom check your blades too.

If you change just one blade, which you shouldn't really do, make sure you balance them properly.

Its normal to change both blades even if one looks OK.

          What helicopter is it?

Check the feathering spindle too, easy way is with the blades off, put a driver on the spindle bolt and turn it clockwise a few turns, watch both blade grips for any up/down movement.

buy a mcpx and learn on that, once u can hover and fly it about then return to your 450, but until then i'd fix it and shelf it.

i'm about to recommend this to someone else IRL, they bought a copterx 450 pro FBL TT for a 1st heli, big mistake! i repaired it for him but i canny see it being in the air for more than a few more secs before its on the bench again.

Good advise but I started to hover a CP helicopter with no crashes and very little RC flying experience.

Tips are/were back then to fit training gear, take it very slowly and follow the advise on Radd's school of rotary flight page. Worked for me!

                              RADD'S SCHOOL OF ROTARY FLIGHT?
