LOL yea we must be out the same pod mate, I've been looking at all the sparky bits you can put on her, however there wait until I can at least fly and land without to many issues.

Just one thing mate, where and what would you suggest as good training gear while I lean, cheers.

Thanks mate, will they be long enough for the blade length, sorry this is all new to me here, I guess I was hoping for T/Gear about a meter in all directions just to be safe.

But if you say there good enough that's good enough for me.

        Cheers bro'.

they are ideal mate just enough to stop tip overs and light enough to not have any affect on flying.won't have the gyro shaking the heli to bits!

              Ron,

Yes its your heli, I bought it from Fatmantom, he said he never flew it! I had to correct a couple of minor faults just to get it in the air, but then ended up buying an overpriced 450SE from Twism, so one had to go!

If you have the original bits then I'll convert it back to HDE. It will be easier for Wayne to learn setup and curves etc.

I just need to tweak the gyro setup and tidy cables etc, ready for him on Sunday. The tail does wag a little, so I will change the servo if I can find a spare. Other than that it does fly really well!
              regards

              Pip

Hey, where d'you learn to fly? I saw you shoot your rocket
              up.............. into the sky.

Hey, I heard you set the pace, I never thought I'd see you back................ in this old place!

You couldn't image the trouble I've had trying to order some training gear for the 450, I finally secured a pair at Simply T-rex for £9.99 with first class postage, so there'll hopefully get here for tomorrow or Saturday in time for Sunday at the Gym.

I'm practicing like crazy on Phoenix with the 450 in training mode so it's not to twitchy, I can hover tail in and keep her steady fairly easy now, roughly speaking what I'm experiencing on the sim, will flying the real thing feel much the same?

If you're having trouble sourcing training gear you can always make your own out of some ping pong balls and CF rod or wooden keebab skewers at a push.

Thanks chaps for all your help, it's much appreciated, good news is the training gear arrived today yay.

I've been practicing on the default 450 in phoenix for about five hours last night in total, and even though shes more of a hand full compared to the trainer I've made some good progress in control, T/hover and flying, it's a great buzz when you can keep her up there, and your half way knowing what to do, just done another two hours this morning, and more later on and through the weekend, I want to cram up as much practice before Sunday, plus even in the Sports Hall, Ive programed in a 3mph strong wind, just to make it a little more tricky.

Below is another image, this is Micheal flying the 450 before the other chaps arrived.
