  • Possibly the last time i use fast lad

    so i put my order in today for my vbar and other suff that i need for a trex 700n dfc i just got. I made a slight error on my delivery info but called them quite literally less than a minute later to say that i needed to change it to my current address(which i confirmed with them ) then was told that it was all sorted and address has been changed.

    I paid 24 quid for Special delivery (minus 6 quid for shipping because of my last order being damaged on arrival) and i get a letter from UPS saying my parcel is on its way to my MUM AND DADS HOUSE, not my house. so my postage choice is ignored, money taken and its sent to the wrong address.

    in the last 3 months i have spent nearly 3 grand with them and most orders has had a problem, be it coming by ups when i chose royal mail or all my electronics being faulty!

    i really hope that this has just been a mistake on the paper work otherwise i do feel that this is totally taking the mick

    as far as im aware nitro cant be reposted because its a DG. i live near dartford so no way im gonna get that back unless i drive all the way to bristol.

    really disappointed...

    you very rarely hear of anyone having a problem with most retailers who advertise here be it FL, middy etc, all very good IMO and been using them all for many years.

    it has been a simple error this time, i've had that from QUK a couple of times but hey ho, mistakes happen and they put it right, i'm sure FL will do the same for you.

    i have to ask though, if you have spent 3k and most of your orders end up wrong/damaged/W.H.Y then why the hell do you keep going there?

      If that's all you spent you must have just started! Had one problem with fastlads they sent a wrong pinion, phoned them and they sen a replacement pinion next foc and said keep the other one.
      as regards to your address you can change that on your online account simples.

        had a few incorrect shipments from them as well, received the wrong part, even the correction shipping having the wrong part - it just happens but it was never an issue with them, except the time it took the get the "long" awaited part - apart from that I'd say they give a very good service and try to resolve any issue fairly easy and quickly ... wouldnt take them off my list of suppliers

          Gota say I never had a problem with FL, cant fault them, but then again, I do know where I live

            Never had a problem with FL in two years and 40 odd orders - alwayws 100% here.

              Hi Ben ,

              Chris here. I am the owner of Fast Lad Performance... Thanks for your comments. I will have our guys look into this first thing in the morning and if we have indeed made an error we will do whats necessary to make it right as quickly as possible. Thats about all I can tell you tonight until I can have someone look at the physical shipping logs in the morning. But as I said if we have made a mistake we will put it right.

                  Overall Fast-lads have always been pretty good - Every order I have made has arrived quickly & correct... My only gripe was I phoned them once to check the compatibility of something expensive I was buying and whoever was on the other end was a bit short mannered with me.. Felt a bit put off by it if you know what i mean.

                  The other thing of course is the amount of stuff Fast-Lads sell & ship... 100's of orders a day so its only natural the order pickers are going to make a mistake now and again... Just bad luck its happened to you so much.

                      Sounds like you have been quite unlucky Heliben.

                      I've always had excellent service from Fast Lads. The only issue I've had over the couple of years I've been ordering from them was some missing/faulty parts on my Goblin 500 which was resolved very quickly (thank you Andy). Most reliable company i've bought from TBH.

                        Don't worry Ben,Chris will sort it out......mistakes happen....i have suffered lots of c0ck ups from another retailer in a few orders but only once in hundreds of orders from FL.

                            Benefit of the doubt...i just put it down to me having bad luck given everyone else seems to rarely have any problems.

                            all my orders last year were fine, thus my surprise this year. thanks for the reply's to all that have read my post
