I still get nervous when charging my packs but they are never left alone but after seeing just how quick these batts go up i am going too review my charging location and get an ammo box for storage.
An ammo box is a good idea but only to prevent things getting to your batts, please don't think it'll help contain a lipo if it goes off.

I've seen similar results from just 2200 3s packs.

Good idea to remove the rubber seal from the box to allow it to vent if one does go off.

      Lipo Fire

I keep 18 6s 5000 mah packs in 1 ammo box with holes in the ends. I know if 1 goes they all go, and that my loft will stink for ever after, however the fire will stay contained inside! All my other 2,3s packs live in another 1.

They might get a bit warm in the loft in the Summer.

It gets hot as hell up there, so much so I burst into sweat as soon as I get up there, for some odd reason the inside of the box stays cool, these ammo boxes were picked up off eBay and are proper military ones with 1979 stamped on them, they also have some weird material plates on the insides, maybe this is what keeps them cool.
