    ...after cursing the manual, re-reading it three times, watching youtube videos, reading forum entries, re-checking tx setup, re-checking rx-setup

    you suddenly realise, that the manual was right in the first place and two plugs had been put in the wrong sockets.

    Well that!

    Only 7 hours wasted today, next time I'll buy a pre-assembled RTF

      My old man has just had one of them days,hes been trying to bind rx's since 10am,half hour ago i googled it and within 5 minutes he was bound fpmsl......He also has 2 lipos,one 3s,one 4s....i have told him 10 times now that the 3s plug does not go in the 4s socket....bless him,im surprised he hasn't cooked it by now

                Close Mr Dillwhacker, it was elevator and pitch

                I was so adamant I'd done it right, I never even thought to re-check that!

                Even got as far as believing the 3GX was set up in Mode 1 and spent ages googling how to change it; needless to say, nothing found, now I know why.

                  Even though I have repaired/rebuilt my 450 a dozen times I still have to look at the manual often. For example, I can never remember which way round the feathering shaft thrust bearings go.

                      Easy, large inner diameter to the inside nearest the headblock smaller ID to the outside.

                              I spent around 3 weeks sorting out my Align 3G. I now know i was being stupid, I had plugged it in wrong like you and not starting the set up with the throttle stick at half stick..

                              Now i know crap loads about the Align 3G
