Well I can see this is going to run and run.......
I do love the align models don't get me wrong but I'm also a tinkerer, just look at my 130x no longer a blade more xtreme.
Also I love the simplistic idea of plugging in a battery and away you go....... But that's just it, its far from simple by the time you store the lipos at storage until needed, parallel charge them carry them to the field (still scares me with the explosive nature, and found out your vehicle is not covered should one go bang in the boot). Another story there.....
anyway I'm thinking charging at the field etc etc..
nitro.... No charging, 12 mins flight, engine rebuilds.... Love that used to re-pinch and port engines... Tinkering yes, fill up fly, land, fill up fly land etc you can see where I'm heading, yes trying to talk myself into it, lol.
as mentioned above buy more packs £160 could poss get me 4 packs for the 500 = 16mins flight, 4ltrs of nitro £25= 3hrs of flight.....
