Karl stick to Ni-mh but go 5 cell to speed the servos up better response etc. I use these rx batteries 6V 5000mAh SubC NiMH battery pack Twin Lead Vapextech | eBay

and the align reg cheapest I can find is £47 plus postage

My advice stick to ni-mh and get the battery I linked to
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

Cheers for that. Ordered one and got it today. Dropped a clanger though! 2 of the servo's are Futaba digital's and run on 4.8v only.
Can I buy the Align 5.1v voltage regulator and place it straight off the 5 cell nimh battery before the switch to reduce the 7v + coming off it? This will regulate the whole voltage to the heli's electrical system to 5.1v won't it??
Or do I need a regulator for each servo that isn't compatible with the higher voltage??

Really I should have stuck to the 4 cell but no worries eh!

        Cheers.
