I have picked up a trex 500 with helicommand 3a all fitted and working on the previous owners tx, my question is will i have to set up the helicommand again after setting up the 500 on my DX8?
Although the settings are stored on the HC, you should do at least the radio and mixing setup from scratch as the channels may be assigned differently and the mixing / reverses etc.
