Yes..point taken...i think my early morning grouchyness played a part in the word tight....the free update side of things is great i must admit. Its just a shame they removed a simple download for people who purchsed v2.5 some years ago and need to reinstall and that download is the steppingstone to the latest version...my dongle is taped to stop a a bad wire connection and im petrified of sending to horizon for fear of not having phoenix for a couple of days!!!! Yes iv got the bug bad...and that damn sim is the whole reason i fly helis today...:-) :-) :-)

The link is a dead end..and i don't want to give my bank details for the other link...........? strange one?...........does anyone have a newer copy than mine i can borrow then send back? i know its a bit cheeky..but i am on a very tight budget......and i do have the original disc which i purchased already. i am totally trustworthy and an honest person.

Can they do this? Surely when purchase it, it's for the license, so are they allowed to simply cut you off like that? You can't go to the shops, and buy V1, V2 etc, like you can with Windows or Office. What an utter con!

I've just come across the same problem, I've ended up borrowing a friends copy of v3 to install onto my pc.

well you can buy a V4 dvd for less than £13 Adaptors and software DVDs

Just use the link above, the whole point of posting it No point in moaning about something thats free, updates that is. I don't understand why they don't have the updates available but who cares when I have them
