Can anyone point me in the direction of a model shop in the Bournemouth area that is likely to sell pinions for a 3.17mm shaft. Alternatively can anyone do a addict a favor and let me buy one from you or loan it until I can get another. The only model shop I know in the area that was likely to have one is channel 4 models but they don't have them. Really need to fly tomorrow as a friend is coming out to take photos. I have damaged my one taking it off and dont want to risk my main gear. Any help is very appreciated, I hope someone can help. Thank you

Yes, for a 450 but not the 450MX motor, its a slightly smaller motor with a 3.17mm main shaft compared to the 3.5mm of the 450MX. Are either of you near bournemouth so I could collect the pinion at some point tomorrow? Thank you for the replies, and so quick.Marcus

Which club are you part of and where do you normally fly? Thank you for the suggestion of lesro models. I will likely pay them a visit to see what they stock. Do they stock many heli parts?Marcus

Thank you to Andy, extremely grateful of his kindness. The pinion arrived today, I still cant believe it got here so quickly, I fitted it to my heli and was able to make the most of the lovely day with some great photos taken too.
I continue to be amazed by the helpfulness, kindness and generosity of the people involved in the hobby. No other hobby of mine has come close.
