guys will the ar600 dsm2 be ok to use on my trex450 with my dx6i , i want to order it but i noticed the description details says its not compatibale with dx6, bit confused (midlands)

The dx6 was an old parkflyer radio using dsm(1)...

It will work fine with a dx6i

it will work, but the aerial from the ar600 is a PITA to manage

PITA,??????, yes ive seen many threads about covering the aerials so will have to bear that in mind when mounting, is there another i can use about the same price range.

Not really, maybe a Ar6200 (what i run) But they are pretty much the same. Just cover the Ariels with heat shrink and its fine!
