Help me spec my 700e

Successfully re-maidened my 700e yesterday having purchased a DX8 and used the 450 out of my scale MD500D with a home made FBL head to learn to programme the HC-3SX. Next to flying a 450 its very stable, but very intimidating. I still need to try less a less responsive cyclic and get used to such a big heli before I'll dare fly it in windy or gusty conditions. There are times when I need to just go for it, but I have only been flying my 450 for 12 months.

Thanks to Paul (450man) for being so helpful with setup of both the HC-3SX and DX8. And my flying buddy Chris(Barlow) who's also responsible for getting me into flying helis in the first place.

So I flew it twice yesterday; the first time in windy/gusty conditions without any drama.

Now I need more batteries.......My flying at the moment is basic figure of 8's, stall turns etc. Any 3D stuff will get learnt on my 450 and is probably years away......I currently have a pair of 5000/25c's. My question is, would 20c's suffice? The peak current on the 510Kv motor is 100A/150A for 5s, and (in theory) a 5000/20c pack can deliver 100A/150A for 10s

I'm contemplating moving the ESC forward to tidy the wiring and improve the balance by putting it on its side in the receiver mount. I have seen pictures where others have done this, however I'm wondering whether anyone has experienced any cooling issues with this location. Anyone tried it?
