governor: turn on/off on with switch, stick or both?

did set up my GV-1 governor

this is about setting the governor On and Off

iv set up a switch on AU8 to do this
however you can also set it to turn On and Off auto with the throttle switch (when throttle stick at under 15% the governor doesnt work)
this should work with keeping in my to also set the throttle V curve in transmitter)

what should i do?
im wondering should it work with both?
having a switch and stick activated?

I set mine so that it is only active in idle-up 1 and 2 and is off in normal mode then it also only kicks in at above a certain throttle amount and I make sure that my throttle hold is low enough so that if I hit TH no matter what flight mode I'm in the GV-1 will shut off.

(I always have throttle curves set for all flight modes so that if the gov shuts off unexpectedly for some reason there is a throttle curve underneath as a backup that is set very close to where it needs to be. )

I have done it in the past where the governor is on a switch and sometimes it's convenient if you can shut the governor off temporarily to just run on the curves, maybe for tuning or whatever, but more recently I end up setting it up where it just kicks in automatically with the flight mode switch and do any engine tuning in normal mode. Most of the time simpler is better.

The cool thing about the GV-1 is that you can get two headspeeds for idle1 and 2 and have it off in normal (or you could have a set speed there as well if you wanted) all without setting up any mixes. All the other govs I use require programmable mixes to get a similar situation.

Mine is on throttle position in normal, switches on at 30% throttle and permanent in idle up 1 and 2
