  • changing tailblades 105 mm >> 95 mm any difference?

My Futura does have 105 mm tailblades

what about changing them with 95 mm blades which i have on shelf

is there much difference what all does change is there for example a bigger rudder input needed when flying?

you wont have as much tail authority

Shouldnt be TOO much of an issue if just hovering but if flying about it could be. Personally id stick with the 105's
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

I'd stick with the larger blades on the tail.. might be ok when hovering but when flying you could lose the tail and boy does it whip round quick when it happens.

If its a ground clearance issue then just fit a slightly longer tail fin.

I'd stick with the 105's on a 700, it's what the rest of the heli has been designed to expect, on my Trex 600 I did have a 700 tail fin which gave the tail blades a bit more protection on hard landings.
