Any ideas on how to remove a snapped off ball link from a swash?

Hi

The elevator ball link on my X5's swash has broken off. It seems a shame to have to buy a new £35 swash for this so does anyone have any ideas on how to remove this ball link?

the best way I can think of is a drill press but it probably will still destroy the threads.

Same happen on my G4 swash mate.
Gave it to my local machine shop and got it out for a fiver! £60.00 for a new swash

heat the area up with a soldering iron to loosen the loctite and with a small jewellers screwdriver wind the thread out till u can get pliers on it. Done it many times works like a charm

Thanks I will try that but not too sure if it will work as its a tiny thread and theres no exposed part at all :/.

If you can drill a shallow hole in the broken ball remains you can then try tapping a small slightly over sized screw driver in and use heat.

Opposite thread small drill bit will may bring it out .

If you can drill a small hole before now I made do with a cheap torques screwdriver pushed or just tapped lightly is enough to grip what's left its worked for me.
Or ask a jeweler they are good with small stuff if you stuck if send it to me I will ask my mate to sort it.
