Does anyone bother mixing the rudder channel with the governor head speed to keep the rotor rpm constant relative to the air during pirouettes?
I heard of dojng rudder/throttle but rudder to gov rpm would be better.
Maybe resolution isn't good enough in the mixing!

This sounds like you are talking about revo mixing. If you are using a HH gyro then revo mixing has to be disabled.

It's not necessary - the governor will try to keep a constant headspeed.
When you load the head with pitch, rudder or cyclic, the governor will always try to increase the headspeed to compensate for that extra load.

i use a little on right rudder to give the gov a helping hand when you bang right stick in.

if your not running a gov then a little more throttle on right stick and a little less of left stick can be useful.

the throuble is that the power demand of the tail rotor has very little to do with the stick input with modern gyros now if you could link it into the servo side of the gyro it would be a lot better especially with sudden stick movements but the gains are so small its probably not worth it.

If you look in the instructions for setting up the CSM Revlock 20 it does add at the end that you may want to consider mixing rudder to governor for just this situation and who are we to argue with Colin Mill

Seriously, it seems like its more hassle to set up than actually moving the throttle stick up and down.....
