    1 ~ 1 1/2 ?

rate of charge i take it?

    how long roughly, 2 hours?

if i got 10 minutes in the ari i could live with a 2 hour flight time.

do lipo have a memory? do i need to fully discharge them or how is it best to use them?

    thanks for the help btw

You dont want to fully discharge lipos, as this will damage them. you need to leave about 3v per cell in them. I use a lipo monitor that pulses the motor when 3v per cell is reached so I know I have to land.

is it best to bring them down to 3.1v per cell then, or does it matter if you only fly for 5 mins then stick it back on charge?

Take a look at Aurorra for chargers, the CellPro 4S was recently reduced as it is shortly being replaced with the 4S Gold but you cant really buy better than this for a Li-Po charger, well other than the CellPro Multi 4 or the daddy of all the CellPro 10S. At £31 inc. VAT it is a steal...

I charge my Li-Po packs (admittedly for my regulator on my Raptor) from the level they are at after use, i.e. no need to discharge or cycle them. A balance charger is critical to longevity though and the CellPro units above are the best at their game for balance charging.

get an esky 4 in1, brushless motor and esc, twister cf fp blades for higher head speed - and metal rotor hub.

will run a 7.4 to 11.1V 1200mah lipo - You will have to restrict it on the throttle curve if you get a 11.1V1200mah with the brushless motor conversion, as flat out it will piro from over torque and the blades will flap like a goodun lol.

pm me if need any help on where to get the bits - great heli - loads of fun when it is modded!

the charger and lipo i ordered of giantcod yesterday has arrived!

i fitted some carbon blades i had they look like they give alot less lift, and i fitted a grauphner motor out of another heli frame i had.

even on the ni-mh batterys now its flying for alot longer.... and sounds like the rotor head is turning alot faster..

i changed a battery from 7cell to 8, so i now have 2x 650mah 8 cell batterys which are giving just nearly 10 minutes i wouldnt go as far as to say flight time... but hovering time..

just makes me want a proper heli even more now!

I just got an old, used Sabre helicopter, but without instructions. I wonder what are two switces on the top of the transmitter used for.
Can anybody send me instructions, please?

                  Ripmax Sabre instructions

Can anyone tell me what are two switches at the top of the transmitter used for? In fact, I got used Ripmax Sabre, but without instructions. Or can someone provide me instructions?

I already installed 2S LiPo battery. The first test flights are encouraging, because it slides to the right, although I have full trimmer.

                  Thanks in advance
