Well got some positive news today! asked around the local farms and found the farmer who owns the land ,and he has said hes more than happy for me to fly there as long as i call at the farm before i fly to make sure hes not ploughing etc? Apparently a friend of his flys helis there every sunday so hopefully hes a friendly chap that i could learn from! really good news for me this as i now have somewhere i can fly with permission and really start to progress!

Cos theres a club in Leyland, one at Chorley (I think) and theres one near Orrell I think (ask Kamikaze for details on that one)

If you dont mind a little drive theres Fleetwood, SCHA in Winsford, Cheshire Hell-e-Cats in stockport I think and Crewe helis, where I fly and there are membership spaces at the minute.

Yes paul ,the land on the left when you turn onto beaumont road from hunger hill end! i have a couple of mates from lostock/chewmoor,looks totally transformed now the metal box has gone!

It certainly is I was born in Horwhich,then Ma and Pa moved to chewmoor in 1970.
But now I live in Chorley.
