For a plastic link ????

Just would like a few opinions on this .........

i ordered a Metal Main Rotor Holder for 450 V2 from GIANT SHARK which should have been supplied with two small and two large plastic links , however on arrival i found it had three small links and only one large , so i contacted them , and the reply i received was along the lines of ....................

Thank you for the message i have looked at the stock and it seems you have got an odd one if you can kindly return it to the following address i will get a new one out to you today and refund the return postage on receipt of delivery.

Now don't get me wrong theres nothing wrong with the reply , but all that hassle of returning a tiny plastic link worth maybe 5 pence ,meaning i would have to wait until they received it ,then wait again until they sent another one (the correct one ) back !!

Looking at the situation as it stands , i think it would be better for me to just re-order the correct link , which would ultimately save me time ,

Looks like they dont sell the links seperately on the website. Its looking like your only option

Try ringing them see if they'll listen to reason... I agree its a bit OTT for something so cheap. Plus I would have thought its their responsibility to make sure the products they send out are what they should be

i cant see how its worth it profit wise for the shop to do this tbh... just dont makes sense.

I think its probably because somewhere in there shop they have the matching one to you. I.e they to have got a set with 3 large and 1small. if they send you just the large link there matching Set is now unsellable, so they would take a loss of that item.
why don't you try to contact them again and explain that you will send only the link back and they can buddy it up and send you the correct one.

I think the point is they should be offering to send the link first as it was their fault. A whole packet of those links will cost less than the postage probably one way lol So why not just pull one out a pack if its still cheaper? Dont get it at all. Especially as its possibly damaging customer relations. Pretty stupid all for a plastic link. If this was FL or MH (or any other descent rc store for that matter) they would have just sent the link and probably not even asked for the other one back. Too much faff on, time consuming and costs more money for both parties.

been back in touch , and they are sending me out a complete head, so i have to send the other complete head back , they say they have already shipped the new head , and that could i send the old one back after the weekend , not sure if they meant the complete head or just the link , the way it was originally worded pointed to just the link .

But anyhow its sorted , and i appreciate them sending out the head in advance of me sending the old one back , so i can now update my opinion , and say 10 out of 10 for service to GiantShark
