    To trade in or not ??

    In my quest to get more power from my 30, I have now got 2 perfectly good 30 size engines, an OS 32, and an AS 40, the question is would it be worth trading them both in at my LHC ( Galaxy Models ), for an OS 37, would this give me the extra omph I'm after ?. I am not in a position to upgrade the 30 to a 50 at the mo, and have a 50 coming to get sorted.

    anybody ??

    A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
    A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
    And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

    And a DX8 too

      A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
      And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

        The 37 is a little more thirsty than you're used to. Personally I wouldn't bother, wait til you have the knight.

        Fury 55 FBL
        Trex 700

          I want to keep the evo in the air, and wanted to give it a little more go. Even with the Knight, i want the evo to fly as is.

              I upgraded from an OS32 to an OS37 some time ago in my Voyager.

              The 32 ran silky smooth compared to the 37, but the 37 has loads more grunt. After all the engine is 16% bigger but in the same size package. I'm not saying the 37 is rough cos it ain't, it's just not quite as smooth as the 32.

              I used to get 25 minute flights out of a tank (with a header) on the 32, and now get no more than 12 minutes with the 37 - it's a lot more thirsty than the 32 - probably got a significantly bigger carb or something.

              All in all - it was a good upgrade, especially when I flogged the 32 on Fleabay and got 3/4 of the money for the 37!
