    Totally agree.

I know like others know that Ade pushes the Knight, Hell he is sponsered by them (and good luck too) so why not, Besides the Knight is obviously a bloody good heli or Ade wouldnt be there giving his opinion about it.

Having now met Ade its true to say he gives an honest opinion about hardware..

IMO good luck to anyone earning sponsorship in this hobby, That goes for the Align pilots too.

If you don't like it then get on the sim and practice then hopefully you will get some sponsorship too.

i have to agree with ashley and barney here folks about this sponsored stuff.

the 2 deals i have i will quote both angelos and mike (aurorra) if i may, when i'm asked to test/fly something all they ask is the truth, not buttered up BS as that helps no one.

another thing people perhaps do not realise is the time invested to get the perks joe bloggs gets being sponsored. i will use myself as an example. when i was testing 500 packs i done very little flying for myself as i was testing diff packs, keeping details, changing combos etc etc for about 3 months so i can feed that info back to mike to pass onto the end user who will save money since others done the donkey work. obviously i'm not the only one who done 500 testing for mike but me/ash/mike had many conversations about pack choices, what we want, what the end user will want and more importantly what they can expect if they buy x or y.

ash does far more than anyone i know in this hobby and gets flak for it. ade also does a lot for knight as does rob. without these 3 people i'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have a clue what to buy for an electric heli or anything to do with knights/phoenix.

im growing really tiered of this attitude that if your sponsored or get stuff free your biased. really gets on my tits.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't know he was sponsored by Scorpion. Was just curious why the artical digressed suddenly. To be honest I didn't even know he was a competiion flyer .

For what its worth I couldn't give a monkeys what he said. If you re read my post you will see I hold no malace against him.

When I was racing kit/sallon cars, Obviously I used sponsored products. I rated them and believed in them, but would always explain the disadvantages as well. The way I saw it, people needed all the information to make their own decision. It wasn't like the sponsors put food in my mouth, anyway! Most sponsors don't expect you to push their products. They believe you performing competitively will be enough to sell them anyway. Mine would much rather I came in the top six compared to spending 3 hours expaining their products.

Nigel didn't overly push the scorpion stuff, I just thought it was strange it poped up like it did. As I said don't give a monkeys ! I have made a mental note to google people first though ! Sorry to stirr up a hornets nest !

Hey Seize.. Please dont take offence...

I do not believe the posts are directed expressly at you, but generated from the topic you brushed upon without realising it..

On this forum I am glad to say we see little if any intervention concerning peoples opinions or thoughts.. more than I can say about Rump ryder. It's got so silly over there that you cant even breath/mention a product without risking the wrath of the rump..

Over on the rumpy dumpy site you will be very lucky to find any worthwhile support from any Top flyer as they are fed up of being spammed by a bunch of unappreciative wan£ers.

But I thought it was the 'top flyers' that were spamming MR's forums, not the numpties that want to argue black is white???

i have to be honest here, i prefer RR layout for some reason but if someone asks me something on RR re spartan it's a fine line between a legit post and being pinked. i try to stay away certain questions but keep people informed so i don't get the wrath. marks over zelous attitude with moderating is spoiling RR for me and that is why most people come here (and elsewhere). stuarts admin attitude is a lot more laid back and thats how it should be. freedom of speech can sometimes be taken to far on forums but if people are going to get pinked, barred, harrassed for saying x or y then you will find a lot who know the direct answer to a question will keep it to themselves.....where is the community in that?

                        cheers

I read nigrels piece. Dunno what the fuss is about.
As normal it is a list of events to go to, and a summary of the new product press releases he received, some with prices some without. The scorpion stuff doesn't seem at all out of place to me.

                          Runryder....well
I'm guilty of posting there, but I can't beleive how impolite on average the posts are - so quick to rudely say this was posted before, how you are talking rubbish (when they didn't read the post properly). Its just not a pleasant atmosphere there. Stange how face to face I always found americans really helpfull and friendly (but I never met any model fliers yet).

I must say I agree Gordon - I read Nigels pages this morning, as my copy of the BMFA mag arrived, and thought exactly the same - it seemed inline with the previous paragraphs about other products and their prices being mentioned?

Any excuse to have a go at the american idiot (little hitler) is always good though

                            face to face
This makes all the difference. Too many keyboard warriors out there who would take a real pasting if they acted in real life like they do on forums.

Everyone is biased, it's just human nature.

Some of us hate Knight's, some of you love them
