  • Not radio controlled, but...

Went to take my (2 year old) daughter to watch heli's today, and took a few photos. I'm trying to get the 'scared-ness' out of her, and today was good. They were landing and taking off right in front of us, and she was quite calm.

The pilot of the blue JetRanger (ZS-HJZ) waved to her while he was colling the engines, and then once the blades had stopped and he had done his checks, came over to chat to us...

He offered us over to sit in the heli, and that was far enough. I get her to touch the heli, and she was OK, but she wasn't keen on getting in... but.. baby steps... we're doing OK.

Yup, that's a Huey parked there as well... Loud bugger!!
