  • FS8 Co pilot sytem anyone use it/opinions???

got this co pilot system fitted to a pair of heli's that I've bought.
if the manuals and the sales pitch is to be believed then it will make them really easy to fly.
has anyone used this or similar & have any opinions???
    any views welcome

i had issues with the reciever, its not PCM and i have seen them glitch on models which had no issues on them.

also can be tricky to get them to calibrate nicely

anybody can be an Arsehole, it takes real commitment, dedication and a whole lot of effort to be nice.

A different piece of hardware completely but I have used the Robbe Hellicommand (which is a flying aid) and can only say when set-up correctly is a fine bit of kit and works 100%.

When set-up at 70% the heli will hover hands free.

Gradually turn the gain down bit by bit until you have full control and hey presto..

I have one and just like Ade I experienced loads of glitch’s, when you calibrate you need to be 150 yards away from any obstruction like trees, buildings and so on so it kind of defeated the object for me as I could only fly in the middle of the field, get anywhere near a tree and its wanting to pull away all the time.
Plus there no good for 2.4 so old hack now anyway.
