be aware that in Asia you can buy rolls of CE stickers for a bowl of rice. Anything from there with a CE sticker should not be trusted to be CE tested or compliant.

I watched a program about that the other day, lots of dangerous kids toys being sold on the UK market with CE printed on labels and boxes. I think any old tat the comes form the Far East can have a CE sticker on. Having a CE sticker does not mean it is CE approved. Which then means it can be confiscated by trading standards.
