  • **Help** I Need a List Of Flying Sites!

Hi guys, requested this a while back but i'm just gathering a list of available flying sites anywhere in the UK for our website alongside an available Iphone app which you can download!

If its a club site you really should seek permission from the club to publish the location, some have reasons for not wanting them publishing.

If you are after public flying sites that sounds like a potentially good idea, I can't imagine that most private clubs would want to be listed though.

I dont know of anywhere that doesnt require some form of membership, even if it is a token amount like Beaulieu.

I dont think private clubs are going to want any extra publicity.

Certainly around here (Hampshire) all existing clubs are over subscribed, with a waiting list.

We are just founding a new club, but publicity isnt wanted, as you want to keep things as quiet as possible. Nothing worse than some village do-gooders deciding they dont want you there.

A list of clubs, contacts and a general location might be handy, but specific flying site locations would not be a good idea unless as I mentioned above, they are public sites like parks etc.
