Today I had the chance to visit Bud at QuickUK, and meet up with Graham (Heathy) to collect our shiny new Futaba 18MZ's.
Well what a surprise I was in for!! All these years I was under the impression that Bud just specialised in beautifully machined and anodised upgrade heli parts. Well I was truly wrong!!
I was greeted with a warm welcome, and offered a coffee straight away. The first thing you see when you enter the shop (It's a modern industrial unit, with the shop upstairs on a mezzanine floor) is the vast stock levels, and array of different helis there. Behind the main shop floor, there are numerous 'walls' of spare parts all very well laid out and tidy. This place is a proper mans cave!!
Kits on sale include Goblin 700 and 770's, Alees Rush 750, Gaui X7, Rapters and of coarse the obligatory Align range including the new 800 Trekker and camera gimble system. Also there are plenty of second hand models for sale, with lots of scale helis hanging up so plenty for every taste.
The range of equipment on sale was also very impressive, with FBL controllers, Radio's, Receivers, etc all on display, with a large range of Radix blades available as well.
I took the liberty to take some photo's while there, because I was so impressed with this shop, that I did not even realise was a shop as such!!
If your in the market for a new heli or spares, it is defiantly worth giving Bud a call to see what deal he may be able to do for you. He did for me after I called for a price on my new Tx, and he matched the best price I could find on the net.
Many thanks for your time Bud, it was a pleasure to meet you, and also great to meet up with Graham again.
