I was over in China last year looking at Ni-MH and Lipo manufacturing factories and that factory looks like a palace compared to many of the companies, as most operatives have good ppe and the place looks pretty clean and well lit but this video clearly shows where cost savings can be made by lesser manufacturers. Less materials shorter or no ageing time etc. One test we do with all battery samples submitted to us for approval is to weigh the packs before we start tests and when actual product is supplied our goods inwards department we weigh them again to ensure they are built to the same standards and it no suprise to find many 'production' batteries come in lighter than the samples so get rejected.
