Hi Stuart.

Thought i'd post and see if anyone else here would like to see a Heliaddicts teamspeak server for using when on Phoenix.

Its a voice chat server that can be voice activated so you can still fly and chat! Just like at your local feild.

I'll even arrange for it to be persisting down in your computer room to add to the realisim!

A few of us have been chatting as we practice using it. It makes a difference.

Is this voice chat, sorry to sound so Ignorant but I presume it's someting used in PC gaming and I have consoles for that. Would be a good idea if this is the case.

i voted yes - i been trying it out with dash, seseme and made2fade. its loads better chatting to the other members instead of typing and trying to fly at the same time.

i got my headset for £4.

I'm reading the site and because RcHeliaddict is now I would class as commercial even though its mainly to cover its costs and not profit's I wonder how we are viewed.

I have no real issues with other than if any costs I doubt it would effect other aspects of the site and if software is needed to be installed on the rcheliaddict server or does it just reside on thiers and acts as a portal.

Hi Stuart, No I have no connection commercial or otherwise with Teamspeak. It just happens to be a decent background comms program that works.

I would not have classed RcHeliaddict as a commercial company for the purpose of using Teamspeak with Phoenix. I can't see any financial gain from using teamspeak with Phoenix if the client is based on your server.

Your not chargeing for the privilege of its use are you?

If it would cost RcHeliaddict money then I'm sure a few of us with the bandwidth can host the program instead.

The software would ideally need to be installed on the RcHeliaddicts server then the settings would remain constant.

I voted yes, but I'd have to d/l teamspeak before logging on again to use it. I tried to get on the RCHeliaddict session on a couple of occasions over the w/end, but on one occasion it was p/word protected, and the other it wouldn't connect, just kept coming back failed to connect or somesuch.

Its not an offical RcHeliaddicts server! I run the server just now and its called RcHelliaddicts teamspeak server so you guys know your on the right one.

Its allways passworded, The Password is heliaddict

Unless theres a problem calling it RcHeliaddict Teamspeak server it will stay like that for now. I'm waiting to see if Stuarts prepared/able to host the server client on the RcHeliaddict server.
