help identifying this canopy

This is a listing on ebay in the US, the heli is a Robbe Milli3 but the canopy appears to be from another model but looks like it fits quite well. I did try messaging the seller to ask what kind of canopy it is but never got a reply (they may not know).

So can anyone identify this canopy as to the model is is originally made for (this is a .90 size heli BTW).

I agree with Brian, the nose is quite pointed and It's got the bulges near the top canopy mounts like the N9 has. Has gotta be that.

I think you guys are right. I just spotted the tell-tale bulge in one of the views in the listing and looked up some N9 canopy pics.

'Hope so anyway as I have just bought an N9 Canomod canopy from Quick UK (this will be going on my Dyna-X which is basically a Milli 2). I like the shape of the original Robbe canopy as well but they're getting more rare now and any fancy painting has to be a custom job.

Yeah I figured that was modded but it looks like another identifying feature of the Synergy canopy. The main thing is the basic shape and dimensions fit on the Robbe frame. I did try a Trex700 canopy one day at the field and that was actually pretty close to fitting as well.

You can see the profile is a very similar contour on the outside. I hope it won't need too much cutting.

Yeah seeing that listing was the only way I was given the idea. Otherwise it's a matter of physically trying a canopy I can get my hands on in person and I don't know anyone with an N9.

It hasn't been something I have spent any energy on because I have the original Robbe canopy and it's fine but in the back of my mind I have wondered if something else would fit that is available in cool paint schemes.

The order confirmation from Quick UK says they're closed for the holidays so it won't be till next week I get it. I'll put up a pic if / when I have it fitted. I think it's gonna look ace!

I have 2 n9 canos here if you want to have a mess on with them Sheryl? One is a plain white one and other is a canomod with some damage. Ill never use them so your welcome to them if ya want? The white one is perfect apart from a slight crack in the centre of the screen at the top. Very easily repaired im told. Buckers said he could do it then do a job straight over the top and id never know. Even if you just use the other one to mess on and get the fitting right then transfer to the white canopy.

Turns out this canopy is the one your thinking about purchasing Sheryl
It was basically on the heli when i purchased it from Stu. One of his little uns had an accident with it lol. I changed it as im a bit of a perfectionist. I think i may have already given the white one away as i cannot for the life of me find it in the loft. The canomod in the pics has damage as i said but its merely paint damage and is still well useable. TBH its not really that bad either. If you look close you will see a crack under the sticker on the screen. Other bits of paint are slightly missing round where the mounting holes are. They always rub away there on these canopys. I reckon if you rubbed it down it would be great for a respray. Ill get it to you as soon as i can. May have to be when i get back to work on the 2nd though as i can get m despatch lads to sort it ou for me. Worst case scenario at least youll get to fiddle with one for fitting. Then the added bonus of the same paint scheme.

What are the odds! That's great. Yeah I can use that one to get the fit just right and then duplicate the results to the new one and also have one beater and one 'Sunday best'.
