I think a lot if not all depends on the person you are actually dealing with and their own conscience level !! Having sold some stuff on here in the past the last thing I would want is my name dragging through the mud and I would like to think I have tried to describe my own gear as accurately as possible. With regards to Ebay everyone is looking for a deal and a bargain EG I currently have a 600LE shelf Queen I want to sell which is literally brand new but who will pay reasonable money on Ebay - No One !!, So it really is a case of buyer beware, If you want confidence then stick to a more guaranteed source like this site, better the devil you know at the end of the day I say.
