No the gimbals feel like a dx8 or better.

Honest it's a improvement on the spectrum stuff

So they're not just copying now, but improving. That's what happened with the motorbikes. So it's not going to be cheap rubbish, but cheap stuff that's better.

Lets hope so Chris. we will still get the "brand snobs" and "fan boys" who will rubbish it before even seeing it but who knows? The orange rx actually work well!

Hey there are spelling miss steaks in the menu but on the whole it does what it says on the can. It has a propper spring return button trainer / bind switch not a pushbutton and they have enough wire internally so you can swap sides with these functions. I have bound it to two seperate sats now on two seperate models and model match is functional ( i believe HH have a patent on this function)

I think I'd plug it in to the suspect servo rather than the rx. Might need more thinking about it, hopefully it won't blow up the BEC while the BEC is trying to charge it.

Interesting.. Would be alright for sim or micro helis, but i suspect it will be glitchy, limited and do weird things once those AA batteries start to run low.

Plus this hobby is about style & bling, that cheap plastic orange case will leave me feeling like I've been tango'd

Yes they are orange.... but the gimbals are as smooth as a 12FG the switches are positive and there is no glitching.... I know. Its is running the same data structure as a DX6i .... I plugged a DX4 RF block into it and it worked perfectly.

there are low battery warnings for lots of battery technologys Life LIPO Nicad and Dry. it has a timed backlit display and it works... There are limited mixes but its very similar to a DX6i in function
