How often do you guys replace ball links ?

I have noticed on my 500 today that some have become a little loose and allowing a bit of slop, There still tight on there but im going to change them, I guess there 250+ flights old. the worse ones are on the Tail but a couple on the swash have gone a bit sloppy too Not noticed this before. I think i will just change all of them on the Heli as they are over 250 flights old and not worth risking it for a couple of quid. But out of interest how often do you change yours ?

My 600EFL made it to about 150 flights before needing some links changing on the head. The rest are as solid as when they went on which is very impressive.

Love that heli. It's only cost me a set of bearings and some links since I bought it.

I've been flying on the original clone ball links and rods since march and noticed a bit of slop a couple of weeks ago so changed them

If in doubt replace them... For me it's if they feel too easy to move, if they are easy to move i.e they fall on their own weight then I will check to see how easy it pops off and replace if needed. If there is any lateral slop then it should have been replaced many flights earlier .

No comments but quality varies a lot in the material of the plastic used here...
