Oh no! Sorry to see that. I had a similar result many moons ago with my Raptor 30 where I did a loop and it was very windy and the combination of cyclic and collective was too much for the engine and it died at the top of the loop and try as I might to pull it around it plowed in flat on the skids. The skids and frame were broken but the blades survived, the canopy survived and I still have it. Everything else was basically OK and I later rebuilt it.

This is my Raptor 50 Titan after today's flying session!!!

Something on the tail let go........ouch!!!
Frame all cracked, only things salvageable is the engine, head, servos and receiver, even the bec split in two!

Ouch!! Was that the raptor you had up for sale a few weeks back? I nearly bought it from you, love raptors, my first decent heli was a raptor 30 and iv had a soft spot for them ever since.
Hope you get the bits and get the raptor back in the air soon bud

Yes that's the one that was up for sale. I changed the gyro to eliminate a hunting and i'm sure the tail blades hit the boom whilst banking the heli!!
I won't get rebuilt but i'll convert my 30 into a 50 using some of the parts!

We had a tail belt break on a raptor 50 titan recently is that a common occurrence with them....

I forgot to mention the canopy survived so will live on!
I can't complain too much as its the 4th crash and first major crash i've had in nearly 2 years of flying!

I don't know if getting the parts from Eddie would work out cost effective.

Last time when FL had the raptor metal pitch arms out of stock i had a look on the ebay and found one at Eddies helibits but it was more expensive than a new from Midlans...

Anyway, I have just bought a Raptor E550 kit and going to use the electrics from the Titan.
So the raptor 30 is going up for sale as well as is my redline 53 and 3D pipe!

This was my raptor 30, os37, got it set up just right and running like clockwork until some thieving git stole it! also had raptor 50 titan, os 50 hyper, that also went the same way.[ATTACH=CONFIG]57812[/ATTACH]

Curiously on ebay there is now a raptor 30 being sold from Kidderminster albeit with a different muffler.

Following on from my Raptor 50 Titan crash, i stripped all the servos out etc and bought a Raptor E550 kit and maidened her yesterday.
She has a 9 tooth pinion instead of the stock 10, giving her a nice low head speed. She's extremely docile compared to the 500 and would make a nice scale flyer!

Here is my raptor 30 that I've done the basic R50 upgrades on. Running an os46 at the moment, which is more than enough power for me as a learner.

I also have an airframe that I'm building up to drop in the military md530 TT fuselage that's on it's way to me as I type this I couldn't have started the later project without the help of some stellar folks on here (Sheldrake and Trillian to name just a couple) so promise to pop up some more pics when I've made some progress!

Hi everyone, finally managed to complete the Raptor 30 FBL conversion. Ian Contessa. Did the setup and. A test flight a. Few weeks ago, thanks Coolice brilliant service as always. Finally with tHis perfect weather did my own flights today and she is am beauty!
fitted with TT FBL head and Ace GT5.1 FBL.
also finally added am pic of my Mini Titan stock model also running the GT5.1.
