What's really shocking me is how much they are fetching second hand. I've been on the hunt for a 7200bx recently for a warp build I'm planning. They are £139 new at Kings Lynn models and £140 at ALS models yet they still fetch £115-£120 second hand!

Am I the only one who finds this madness?
Not really. With an AR7200BX there is absolutely no disadvantage in buying second hand. 99% of the time will work perfectly, and if it doesn't HH will give you a new one within a couple of days.
And also unlike servos / lipos / motors etc FBL controllers dont deteriorate over time
No Vbar upgrade here (yet lol) just swapped my microbeast for the spectrum version, already got one on the rave and prefer the tidier setup with the built in receiver.
I don't disagree with you but I guess I'm thinking that for the sake of 25quid, I know exactly where and how it's been used etc. it doesn't seem worth the hassle for that little saving for me.
They will sell quickly as they are at a good price/performance level but for what the are going second hand, I will be spending the 25quid extra.

That can only be a good thing, when you come to sell it surely!
