I am sick to death of the same bloody thing.
It's not the boards as I've tried 4.
I think it's when you don't balance charge without the bar in place across the plugs.
I avnt got a clue with this charger.
Drives me mad.

What parallel board are you using? And do you use the same board for the 6s
All that said, you can charge 2 3S packs separately, one in each Chanel

The parallel board i,m using is from HobbyKing and yes its the same one for the 6s packs, just strange the 6s pack no probs and 3s packs have this issue.!!!
For 6S I believe the charger uses Chanel 1 for the first 5 cells and Chanel 2 for the 6th cell, maybe there is an issue in the board when charging under 5S

I have sometimes had this if I have plugged the battery into the wrong balance board socket. It may fit the socket OK but the terminal pins do not match. I don't know which combination of plugs/sockets I've had this with but it has happened.
Happy Landings.

I believe to charge 2x 3 s packs, one pack is connected to each of the charge outlet sockets on the charger
You need 2 balance boards and a battery on each board
As stated by others to charge a 6s pack
Cells 1to5 are on one balance board cell 6 on the other
Hope this helps ?
I also charge 2 x 3s packs by using the two balance boards Cellpro provide in the kit that converts each output from 5s to 3s. Having said that by 3s packs are revolution so equipped with the proper plugs & designed for Cellpro chargers.
As Swampy says - correct balance board into both outputs, set output to '2 packs' and charge from both outlets. You need to jumper plug on the top of the charger inserted into the top outputs.
Happy Landings.

hope this is clearer than my explanation
For 10s
Connect both leads from the balance board to the charger cells 1to 5 are connected to the number. 1input socket cell 6 to number 2
Hope this help you
For 6S I believe the charger uses Chanel 1 for the first 5 cells and Chanel 2 for the 6th cell, maybe there is an issue in the board when charging under 5S
now this would explain why i only see the information for the 5 cells when i am charging 6 mcpx batteries via the balance board.
If i try to plug the black and red charge plugs in i get a load of fault codes. it seems to charge the 6 mcpx batteries ok via just the balance board.

That's because it sees 5 cells on the board and 6 on the leads I think
I know peeps who have charged 6s flight batteries on 5s balance board no fault shows unless you add the charge leads to the system
It's all good head scratching stuff
And of course is in the manual
