The gearing is very much a problem for almost everyone! I was hoping for a new helical gear set with a better ratio but looks like we are stuck with what we have for now

That explains why everyone is selling & the bottom has fallen out the align 600 Efl pro market.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but - I have tried everything and the only solution that works for me is a stupid high head speed and real stiff blades in the grips and only fly for 3 and a half minutes. Such a shame as it had real promise...

I've stayed with the standard head (non-DFC) and used 105 tail blades. Heli performs very well even at low headspeeds. Tail holds solid in funnels for example at about 85% flat throttle so quite low. I have a DFC head but never fitted it due to the longer blades. I have never had a boom strike or anything either and I'm doing reasonable 3D with it at mid-headspeeds. 105 KBDDs work a treat.

I have thought about selling it on but as mentioned above, the market has fell out of the ass for the 600EFL. It's a great helicopter but Align need to get their act together!

As soon as I go from 3d to full on smack I get boom strikes, chipped blades the lot....

Stretched it to a 700 with 620 mains flew great for a few batts then i went to do a little smack and started with a nice full speed wall stop which completely cut the entire boom off lol!
