hi all sorry if this sounds like a rant and i wont mention any names but i have brought a lot of junk off this web site from totally dead futaba servos (they were cheap) but beside the point i got an os 55 listed as perfect new rear bearing and ring (ring was completely gon as were the bearings and carb seals recently got a high end tx that needs a new pot i sucked it all up and chucked/ repaird as needed seening as they second hand and wouldnt dream of doin it to some 1 else

now i just sold some cheep servos that came with a heli i brought and i tested them all perfect, the person has said 2 of em are toast and need new gears but hasnt plugged em in and that new gears should probly sort em
. 1 is brand new and totaly unused and thats the worst ? its silky smooth iv said i will refund but what would you do i feel im being had again but from another angle

I believe i know of the said servos as it was actually me who highlighted it to the person you sold them to. One of them is very crunchy and the other hardly turns past 90 degrees. I can assure you that you are not being had as I saw them being unpacked.

When you say you tested them, did you turn them by hand and listen to them? I did actually suggest taking the lid off to check if it was just gears but he didn't want to do that and contacted you immediately with what we thought was the issue.

I can appreciate that there are some people out there who would rip people off without a second thought, for what it's worth, this person isn't one of those.


Edit, just to add, I believe the new one was the only one which was fine.

there sending em back monday just wanted to know what others would do as what was said after i said send em back rung alarmbells iread it to the misus and even she was like what the f... and the new is was the werst 1 now its the best ? oh well

Thats a little strange. We thought the one with the newest and cleanest label on was the new one. That was perfect. The others were used looking and sounded shockingly bad in performance with one of them not turning past 90 degrees.

You may have mis read the message or wires have been crossed, but, two of the three are definately in need of tlc and one (which looked new) seems to be fine.

I would suggest dealing with the person directly via pm. If you feel there is still an issue, you always have the route of going to the moderator team.

This may come across bias as I know the person you dealt with very well, but I would always try and communicate with the person you did the deal with first before making the issue public. Threads like this never end well and although no names have been mentioned, it doesnt take a brain surgeon to look at your forsake thread and work it all out.

Weird, my new align servos came with stickers.....hope it gets sorted. I've learnt quite quickly that the rc heli/plank community is a close nit one, last thing we need is bad feeling.
