    Hi All.

    Looking at motors for a 700 and what does the first group of numbers mean when you see something like 4530-540 I get the 540 is the Kv (rpm per volt) but what does the 4530 or alike mean?

    Its merely the manufacturers reference to the size of the motor. 4530 is a scorpion motor i take it.

      the first 4 numbers are the model number eg 4025 12s 50 size , 4035 12s 90 size

        For Scorpion the first 2 numbers relate to the size of the can I thought

          I thought it was stator thickness and diameter.lol

            Think you are right. Just re reading the specs stator Dia 45 and thickness 30.
