It's the fbl I'm looking at but I think you're right. The 130X is a marvelous little guy, he'll do me in the smaller areas for sure.

Thanks for the responses. Sometimes you just need someone else's opinion to help you flip one way or the other. Logo 600 it is then, WHAT! No, just kidding. Honest. Hubby would have me strung up, sectioned under the mental health act, and he'd help the dog tear my head off and then show the him which orifice to pee down. Gulp!

Tom: I agree. I wonder if that's why the 450 is being a sod - it has the 300X's AR7200BX. The 500 flies a dream. The 450 is an absolute pig. Sounds like the BX doesn't it
Is it worth getting your AR7200BX settings checked out ?

I received my second hand trex 250 pro dfc today in the post, its from ebay which is unlike me to buy from that place, but it was cheapish and its a punt. I'll let you know what I think of it Vicki, looks good quality, so small though!

TBH the blade stuff is naff quality imo, the blade 130x is great how it flies and i kinda miss mine, but the selection of problems are shocking, servos dying, awful bearings throughout, binding problems, etc etc.. The blade 300x is reported to be suffering with alot of problems too.

It just so happens that I know of a Logo 600 for sale, he also has 2 trex 250's for sale ( never flies them) all fuzed up too!! They do look mighty purrrty!!
Not entirely sure of the reliability of the price informant, but £450 was bandied about. I could always ask on your behalf . It's in an airwolf fuze at the mo, but I guess it will come out to be sold. I considered buying it to go with my Logo 500, but I reckon Mrs. Pug might suss the size difference out and cotton on to the fact that they AREN'T actually the SAME helicopter. Sometimes, she's not as green as she is cabbage looking ROFL.

nooooo. No. Nonono. The 250 was my last bastion and that has been punched into submission. I'm sticking with Larry and Harry (450 and 500). The only thing that could temp me is a 550 size but then I'm into "how the hell do I transport it" territory.

I think the good peeps here have helped me settle at that.

Oh the transportation is easy to solve :-) But you get a big bump up in LiPo / charger costs. I love the bigger helis but I still love my 500 just as much and if I didn't have the bigger ones (of course I would get them anyway) life would be easier, but, the point being you can go a long way with the 500.

Personally I would go with the 250 Just because my experience of Eflite has been somewhat hit and miss.
Align and Thunder Tiger have been just great out of the box.
Also they all run on Futaba gear (apart from mcpx and TT cobra which has own branded ACE system) so I cant comment on the this AR7200 setup.

The 250/300 class helicopters strike me as a solution looking for a problem. From where I'm sitting they're too small really to fly in anything but calm/very light breeze and too big to fly inside anything except a large hargar. They're also big enough to need more conventional mechanics/electronics but not big enough to make any of it easy to fit or work on. A bit of a pointless class and not worth spending money on in my view.

+1 on that, i found my 250 really hard to work on and as someone else has mentioned, when they crash you still get the same carnage as 450 size!
Can't beat the 130x, i had a go with one a couple of weeks ago and was well impressed, it flew really well in a light breeze and the tail held well which is more than i can say for the 250 i had!!
