  • Safe sites to shop from

I'm trying to round up the parts to do a cheap FBL conversion of my dust-collector (Blade 400), and the sites being cheapest on Tarot parts looks a bit dodgy to say it least...

Have anyone been shopping from oomodel.com or cnchelicopter.com and can confirm it's not rip-off sites?

    Hi Bjorn

I think oomodel.com rings a bell as one to avoid - think I saw a thread on HF about it.

Have you looked at RC711.com they do cheap FBL units?

Imo its not worth it with a blade 400 now that a FBL trex 450 can be picked up for around £200 second hand.

Just saw the warning on HF too, cnchelicopter.com is supposedly pretty safe tho.

I'm following your thoughts with the Trex, but here in Norway people think their used beaters are made of pure gold, asking 300+ for a battered bag of loose tied parts. Besides, I got the Blade and it's got quite nice servo's that would justify upgrading it to FBL.
